Overview:
This is mostly a field sales position, selling our clients distributed range of plumbing, heating and bathroom supplies to independent (95%) plumbing & heating merchants, builders’ merchants and hardware stores. Predominantly an account management/development position with accounts split 70% plumbers’ merchants and 30% DIY and Builders Merchants. Account Managing circa 100 live accounts (from £2,000 up to £1m turnover). The expectation is to undertake around 5 customer visits per day, during which you will be offering recommendations for new product lines and managing the area through rigorous business planning. This role will also be responsible for identifying purchase decision makers and arranging and attending sales visits. Building relationships with both existing and prospective clients is key to this position.
