Area Sales Manager (KBB) (Scotland)
Overview:
The Area Sales Manager will develop business from existing and prospective clients within a defined geographical area. This role involves managing client relationships, securing product specifications, and promoting brand awareness in the KBB sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for achieving specified sales targets set by the Regional Sales Manager. Key customers will include contractors, local authorities, home improvement agencies, and housing associations. This position requires a proactive approach to identify new business opportunities while maintaining strong relationships with current clients.
Ideal Candidate:
- Experience in specification sales, preferably in the local authority sector, healthcare, KBB, or building materials.
- Proven track record in successful field sales and business development.
- Strong ability to secure 4+ appointments per day.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster client relationships.
- Proficient in PowerPoint presentations and MS Office applications.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Customer-focused with a professional demeanor.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Willingness to travel and stay away from home as necessary.
