Main Purpose of the Role:
As the Business Development Manager for Scotland & Northern England, you will be responsible for managing the designated territory and stimulating profitable sales of the companies sustainable HVAC products. You will focus on developing relationships with consulting engineers and securing company product specifications to ensure growth in the market.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Be proactive in achieving business objectives while maintaining existing relationships and generating new business.
- Have a proven ability to build and maintain relationships with consulting engineers and key customers within the designated territory.
- Demonstrate excellent organizational and project management skills, ensuring efficiency in handling enquiries, quotations, and orders.
- Be comfortable providing design and product selection advice, as well as installation and post-order customer service support.
- Have a solid understanding of industry standards, health and safety policies, and emerging opportunities within the HVAC sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a regional business plan to achieve company objectives.
- Focus at least 90% of your activities on securing company specifications with consulting engineers.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing customers to ensure repeat business.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities by building relationships with target customers.
- Attend networking events and marketing opportunities to promote the brand.
- Provide accurate reports on activities, prospects, and sales through the CRM system.
- Contribute to sales meetings and collaborate effectively with internal teams to meet objectives.
