Key Account Manager - Midlands

 

£49K - Basic - D.O.E

Overview:

A Key Account Manager is required by our client to work towards achieving the required Area Sales Growth Target as set by the business.  This role is responsible for devising and implementing a robust Area Sales Plan for the Social Housing, New Build. Eco Funded and One-Off Markets. Demonstrating detailed technical knowledge of all renewable products confidently and selling the value of core products through technical expertise and sales presentation. Delivering presentations professionally, confidently and effectively to new and prospective customers promoting our clients brand. Key skills will include: Time management - Organising of appointments in advance to maximise productivity and to make full use of your time. Recording all meeting Objectives/ Outcomes and keeping all Customer details up to date via CRM software.

 

Ideal Candidate:

You will be:

  • Well prepared, presented and prompt for all appointments
  • Able to manage the Areas ‘Corporate Hospitality’ budget effectively and in line with the Companies expenses policy, in order to maximise sales opportunities. 
  • Prepared to attend company events, some evening and weekend work will be required.
  • Prepared to attend all required National Sales Meetings and TEAMS conference calls. 
  • Confident in working closely with key OEM partners to achieve mutual goals. 
  • Good at developing relationships with key Independent Merchant contacts in relation to this customer base
  • Flexible
  • Proficient at working in partnership with fellow sales colleagues to minimise conflict and ensure that appropriate profit margins are maintained.
  • Act as the role model, representing our values and behaviours in an appropriate manner.
