Overview:
As a Key Account Manager for Buying Groups in Building Services, you will be responsible for managing major accounts within the Independent Plumbing & Heating (P&H), Builders Merchants, and Buying Groups sectors. These accounts are critical to our revenue, and your focus will be on developing strong, long-lasting relationships and strategic partnerships to ensure mutual success. Working closely with the National Sales team, you will coordinate across various internal departments to facilitate seamless collaboration with your accounts, driving market-leading service delivery. Additionally, you will partner with external sales teams to ensure alignment with the strategic plans established for each key account. This high-profile position requires you to operate at a senior level, actively shaping the future sales strategy of the business and building effective relationships with key stakeholders.

Ideal Candidate Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in account management or sales within the building services industry
  • Strong understanding of the Independent P&H and Builders Merchants sectors
  • Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to develop and implement strategic sales plans
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
