Overview:
As the Project Design Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the tendering and design management of HVAC projects, with a specific focus on district heating and hot water systems. Your role will involve ensuring compliance with current M&E legislation and statutory requirements. You will prepare accurate tender documents, manage design calculations, and ensure that all project designs meet the necessary standards for approval. Collaborating closely with project managers, you will assist in the resolution of technical issues and maintain strong relationships with clients and consultants throughout the project lifecycle. Your expertise in design principles and service delivery will be crucial in ensuring high-quality project outcomes.

Ideal Candidate Qualifications:

• Educated to degree level or equivalent, preferably with a postgraduate qualification in project management or a related field
• Strong understanding of contracts and specifications for pricing risk in tenders
• Firm grasp of design principles for heating and hot water systems
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills
• Full driving license and ability to work both independently and as part of a team
