Project Development Manager (North)

Public Health & Mechanical Consultants

£45K - £55K + O.T.E

Overview:

The role will focus on Public Health & Mechanical Consultants, raising awareness and gaining specifications for the entire range of Polypipe Building Services’ products for the commercial market. This includes above ground drainage and water supply systems. There will also be a need for creating relationships with Main Contractors, and clients to help drive the specification on a project management basis.

Scope:

  • To gain Specifications in line with the Project Development Team strategy

  • To communicate and report back to the business through the appropriate channels including: Monthly reports, Outlook diary, CRM, 1:1 with line manager and Specification Bank.

  • To effectively manage and develop key customer relationships in line with the account management model.

  • Conduct Planned and structured meetings in line with segmentation.

  • Obtain evidence of all Specifications gained.

  • To provide a range of presentations/ CPDs to help grow knowledge with our customers and gain valuable contacts.

  • After gaining Specification; to then manage the project information through to the TSM and to help defend that Specification.

The ideal candidate will:

·       Track record of working on large scale commercial projects

.       A good knowledge of the M&E marketplace

·       Proven experience of working with specifiers

·       The ability to handle technical dialogue at all levels

·       Good presentation skills and experience of presenting to groups

·       Excel skills and project management skills would be an advantage
