Overview:
The Specification Sales Manager (NORTH) role is a key position in the UK & Ireland Sales department, focusing on expanding market presence and driving sales growth in the North of England. This full-time, permanent role, reporting to the UK & Ireland Head of Contract Sales, involves home-based work in a hybrid setup.
Key responsibilities include:
- Identifying and developing relationships in specified sectors to increase market presence.
- Maintaining a robust sales pipeline.
- Promoting Fortune brands' product specifications in various projects.
- The role also encompasses lifecycle engagement.
- Strategic planning.
- Staying informed about industry trends.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate the following:
- Previous experience in a similar role within a fast-paced environment.
- Proven track record in sales, preferably in a specification sale, 2-3 minimum years of experience.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to execute strategic sales plans.
- Understanding of the construction and building materials industry.
- Knowledge of CRM systems.
- Strong organisational, multi-tasking, and communication skills.
- Excellent relationship management skills; adaptable to all situations/individuals.
- A solution focused mindset with the ability to prioritise effectively.
