Spread the word according to ISH

There’s nothing quite like a trade exhibition to bring people together and give them the chance to put their brand at the forefront of people’s minds and, as trade exhibitions go, there’s nothing quite like ISH!

Last week SOS Executive Search’s Founder, Sean O’Sullivan, put his best foot forward and smashed his step count by travelling to Frankfurt for the ISH Exhibition - the world's leading trade fair for the bathroom, building services, energy, air conditioning and renewable energy sectors.

ISH has always been a fantastic event that unites the global HVAC and energy sectors, and after COVID, everyone Sean spoke to was very positive about being able to get out and meet with people again.

Sean explains: “Visiting ISH gave me the chance to see people I haven’t seen for 10+ years, and there was a real sense that people were keen to get out there and spread their brand’s messages after the pandemic.

“More than that, though, ISH gave me the chance to talk to people about SOS and explain why the way we work with our clients is different, as well as to get a solid snapshot of how the HVAC and building markets are changing. Two days (and 25+km of walking round Frankfurt am Main exhibition venue – those halls are huge!) of speaking with people and reconnecting with old colleagues allowed me to fully immerse myself in the market and get a thorough understanding of the culture and ethos of the brands we represent.

That means, for each client we work with, we can create a compelling brand message for when they’re recruiting and accurately share that with the market, in order to attract the very best possible talent for our clients.

“There was a real feeling at ISH this year that brands across the sector have put environmental intelligence at the forefront of their message. Rising energy and water prices have brought the need for efficiency home to everyone, and now whole families and businesses alike are understanding the need to reduce energy consumption and turn things off when not in use – it’s not just the bill payers anymore!
